We’ll be playtesting just a basic D&D encounter using the online Roll20 interface. It’s my goal to have familiarized myself with it before now, so that when we’re all together, we can work out the details and I can answer questions. As the fellowship has battled through many hardships on the road to Eregion, they have been enlisted by the great Elven smith Celebrimbor to find and search out his priceless magical forging tools, which had been stolen from him. Barely surviving a night raid by orcs, Azarbel and Burk must survive the night. What will happen when the sun rises? Will the mysterious horseman who trailed wounded into Ost-in-Edhil join them?

With an influx of shadow into the land, it seems the fear of brewing war is coming to a head. With a new healer and a rider from Rhovanion to swell their ranks, the new fellowship is coming together. With dark portents of the healer’s dream, what will the party now face? Naming the rider a ring bearer now, will they survive the coming onslaught? How will our heroes fair against the rising dark of Mordor?
